Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born in December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his parents, who are loving and caring. He is the father of the elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the founders of the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. Her divine grace was passed down to her son in the early years of his life.

KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is home of several top-selling gospel singers.

Pastor Chris has two children, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon, also known by CSO, has chosen to follow the footsteps of her father by sharing the Word of God the world. She is an accomplished gospel artist, a Grammy-award winning singer and part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his education at Edo College. After a grant was made to pursue a degree in the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) He was awarded the BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. He is a recipient of an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where the Lord called him to serve the Lord and become a minister.

While in the university While still in university, the Man of God began what would become the largest church in the world. It began with an uninvolved group of believers known as 'Youth for Christ'. The group would later become the foundation for LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with a later number of millions of followers across the globe.

Oyakhilome Pastor Chris directed the LoveWorld ministry to become a pioneer in satellite TV and Christian production and programming on television.  Pastor Chris Oyakhilome LOVEWORLDSAT was first Christian television station to broadcast from Africa 24/7 on free-to-air channels. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations all over the globe.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence throughout Pastor Chris's native Nigeria. The ministry has two healing schools that are located in South Africa.

Music and Gospel Music form an integral aspect of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches that a choir be taught through Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. A lot of these singing talents will go on to have great solo careers under the direction of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

Apart from preaching the Gospel message, the Man Of God has also created NGOs which are charged with providing vital services and hope for the most vulnerable and marginalized people. Five partners form part of COFI and are working to improve living standards in the poorest areas.

Under the auspices COFI are COFI's InnerCity Mission (ICM) for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), as well as the Bible For All Mission. Each of these groups works to improve the lives and health of those who are most in need.

The charity also provides assistance for children who are in need. Pastor Chris believes in building communities by establishing COFI as well as The InnerCity Mission.
